Family and Friends in Band: Daughters, Rachel and Stephanie, Son, Robert.   Roy and Melissa Gunter are friends of ours from Apalachee HS.  Joyce and Barry King went to the same HS I did.  Carolyn Potter is a friend of mine and member of the Chamber of Commerce.  Dr. Audrey Huff is my father's physician and the daughter-in-law of my physician.  Wes used to repair my kids instruments and I have begged him since Robert was in 6th grade to help me start a band and he finally agreed last year...btw, Robert is now 19....  I can be persistent :)  Matt Fuller- a founding member- is the band director at Apalachee HS where my kids attend. 

Instrument: Saxophone and Flute... probably the computer since I use that more than the instruments!

Number of Years Played: 1976-1982,  I have not played actively with a group until we started this band

Occupation: Office Administrator, Real Property Appraiser and volunteer extraordinaire!

Favorite Type of Music: Any as long as there is nothing faster than a 16th note :)  then I pick and chose ....

Why I Play in the YCCB: Duh - I helped organize it!  I play because it is FUN!  When it stops being fun, I will stop playing :)

This is a great group of people who believe in "Music for a Lifetime." I can't imagine a better or more fun group to play with.  We may not be the most technically perfect band, but everyone is having fun and that is what matters!
