Yargo Community Concert Band

Yargo Community Band was formed to give musicians a place to practice "music for a lifetime".  Our members come from every walk of life and range in aged from middle school student to octogenarian! 

Membership is open to all musicians with a desire to play.  Musician must be a minimum of 16 years of age unless a parent is also participating or student is recommended by their band director.

There are no auditions!  If you haven't played in years - don't worry.  It will come back to you.  This is a supportive group that plays for the joy of music.

"I had not played in an organized group since high school.  I enjoyed going to the children's football games and watching them perform at halftime.  I missed playing more than I imagined.  Now I play beside my son and daughter - this is something that will remain with them long after I am gone!" 

"Our children are homeschooled and receive private musical lessons.  This group has provided an opportunity for the kids to play with others.  This expands on their skills and allows them to interact with musicians of all ages and skill levels."
